Osama bin Laden killed in CIA operation

Osama bin Laden has been killed in a CIA operation in Pakistan, President Obama announced from the White House Sunday, ending a years-long manhunt for the leader of al-Qaeda and architect of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on New York City and Washington, according to multiple sources.

    ဟုတ်တယ်ဗျို့၊ စီအန်အန်မှာလည်း တင်ထားပါတယ်။ အိုစမာ ဘင်လာဒင်ကို အမေရိကန်တပ်ဖွဲ့ဝင်များက ပါကစ္စတန်မြို့တော် အပြင်ဖက်ရှိ ကြီးကျယ်ခမ်းနားလှတဲ့ ရဲတိုက်လိုအဆောက်အဦးတခုမှာ အခြားမိသားစုဝင်များနဲ့အတူ အသေဖမ်းဆီးရမိခဲ့တာပါ။ သူ့ရဲ့အလောင်းကိုလည်း လက်ဝယ်ရပြီးထားပြီလို့ အမေရိကန် သမတအိုဘားမားက ပြောပါတယ်။ အခုစစ်ဆင်ရေးမှာ အမေရိကန်ဖက်က တဦးတယောက်မျှ ထိခိုက်မှုမရှိဘူးလို့ ဆိုပါတယ်… စီအိုင်အေနဲ့ အမေရိကန်တိုက်ခိုက်ရေးတပ်ဖွဲ့ဝင်များအားလုံးကို ကွန်ဂရက်ကျူလေးရှင်းပါ။ တလက်စထဲ မြန်မာပြည်ကိုလည်း လုပ်ပေးပါအုံး။ ဘင်လာဒင်လောက်ခက်မယ်မထင်ပါ….
    စီအန်အန်ဘလော့မှာတော့ ဘင်လာဒင်ဟာ ခုခံရင်း သေဆုံးသွားတယ်ဆိုပါတယ်။ ဝင်ရောက်စီးနင်းမှုကို အမေရိကန်ရေတပ် အထူးတိုက်ခိုက်ရေးတပ်ဖွဲ့ navy seals ကပြုလုပ်ခဲ့တာပါ။ ကွန်ဂရက်ကျူလေးရှင်းပါ နေဗွီဆီးလ်တို့ရေ…. ဘင်လာဒင်နဲ့အတူ အခြားအမျိုးသား သုံးဦးနဲ့ အမျိုးသမီးတဦးတို့ပါ တိုက်ခိုက်မှုအတွင်း သေဆုံးခဲ့ပါတယ်။ အမေရိကန်ဖက်ကတော့ ထိခိုက်ဒဏ်ရာ ရမှုမရှိခဲ့ပါ။ ဝင်ရောက်စီးနင်းခဲ့တဲ့ အဆောက်အဦးဟာ မြို့တော်အစ္စလာမ်မာဘတ်ကနေ ကီလိုမီတာ တရာလောက်ဝေးတဲ့ အဘိုတာဘတ်မြို့ရှိ သုံးထပ်အမြင့်အဆောက်အဦး ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ အဲဒီ အဆောက်အဦးဟာ ဘေးပတ်ဝန်းကျင်က အဆောက်အဦးများထက် ရှစ်ဆကြီးတယ်လို့ သိရပါတယ်။ အမေရိကန်တပ်ဖွဲ့ဝင်မျာဟာ အဲဒီအဆောက်အဦးထဲမှာ မိနစ်လေးဆယ်လောက် ရှိနေခဲ့ပါတယ်။ (ဝင်ရောက်စီးနင်းမှု အော်ပရေးရှင်းက မိနစ်လေးဆယ်လောက် ကြာတဲ့သဘောပါ)။

    Osama bin Laden — the longtime leader of al Qaeda — was killed by U.S. forces in a mansion outside the Pakistani capital of Islamabad along with other family members, a senior U.S. official told CNN.

    U.S. officials have taken custody of bin Laden’s body, Obama said. No Americans were harmed in the operation, he added.

    strong>[Updated, 12:54 a.m. ET] CNN’s Chris Lawrence, citing U.S. officials, reports that the compound where bin Laden was found – in Abbotabad, Pakistan, about 100 kilometers outside Pakistan’s capital of Islamabad – was three stories tall, and about eight times larger than any of the buildings around it.

    An official said a “small U.S. team” was involved in the operation at the compound – the official would not confirm any U.S. military involvement. An official said bin Laden resisted the assault – and was killed in the firefight.

    Three other men were killed in the firefight, and a woman being used as a human shield was also killed, the officials said. There were no U.S. casualties, the officials said. The U.S. team was at the compound for about 40 minutes, officials said.

    Obama confirms bin Laden has been killed in U.S. assault
    “Tonight, I can report to the American people and to the world that the United States has conducted an operation that killed Osama bin Laden, the leader of Al-Qaeda, and a terrorist who’s responsible for the murder of thousands of innocent men, women and children,” Obama said in a surprise late night White House address.

    ကမ္ဘာကြီး တော့ တခြမ်း ငြိမ်းချမ်း သွားပြီပေါ့။
    မြန်မာပြည်က ပြည်သူတွေ ကို လက်တလုံးကြား လုပ်နေတဲ့ မကောင်း ဆိုးဝါးတွေ ကို ပါ ရှင်း ပေးနိုင်ရင် တကမ္ဘာ လုံး ငြိမ်းချမ်းမယ်။
