The ebook of insight was written by me as much as I can understand according to the teaching of Tsunami Sayadaw U Ottamasara from Thanlyin Meditation Centre, Yangon, Myanmar(Burma).

This booklet is based on his teaching & it won’t teach you how to concentrate or be mindful upon something or a movement but how to abandon the idea of something, someone, individual, a entity or a movement -etc; as reality by the way of not-forgetting only the original truth.

Yes , fri, I translate the Vipassana as Insight meditation. But Vipassana is beyond the mindfulness or impermanence of something, somone which are just relative truth.

    Hello, friend Niko,

Yes we need the teacher/teaching who guides & leads us the insight meditation.
The teacher or teaching should be from teaching or guided talks of meditation from multi media such as audio CD, or internet even if you can’t meet the teacher personally.
Welcome to you to take some guided meditation talks of teaching at my blog (www.onlymiddleway.co.cc). If you have been familiar with Mogok Sayadaw’s teaching or TheInnGu Sayadaw, you can follow their guidance.

In fact, when you can understand well insight meditation, meditation alone or not is not problem because external phenomenal world (ghosts and external agents) can really do nothing us to be harmful but ….. the internal mind which is grasping and attaching something, someone, somewhere, sometime with the idea of reality , likes and dislikes.
