CENSUS 2010 FOR ALL BURMESE
Census 2010 is just around the corner. This is, in fact, once in a life time opportunity for all of us. All you need to do is fill up ‘BURMESE’ in the section provided in the form. You will receive the questionnaire form in mail or will be visited by census worker (make sure they identified at the door that they are official census taker). We experienced hard times getting proper services at various offices, simply denied benefit that you entitled due to miscommunication, lack of sizable Burmese dialects, etc. Lets make the nation knows we have over 100k Burmese poupulation accross the nation. Please spread this word to other Burmese friends how important it is. Who knows one day we will have a LITTLE BURMA!

We so far has no hard data on Burmese population. But we fairly projected to have about 100,000 Burmese residents or on transit in U.S. Hopefully, the department of commerce will release the data.
Census department is going to begin their door-to-door campaign. If you or your Burmese friend/s miss to return the form, now is the crucial time to act. The forms are easily obtainable at nearest groceries, city halls, libraries, public places.
Your response is very vital to all Burmese, Karen, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan, Kachin and Kayah.
