 ယခုလမှာတော့ အားလုံးမျှော်လင့်တောင့်တနေကြတဲ့ Essay လေးတွေ ကျွမ်ကျွမ်းကျင်ကျင် ရေးတတ်လာအောင် လေ့လာကြပါစို့။
essay မရေးခင်မှာ paragraph လေးတွေအကြောင်း ပြန်လည်အစဖော်ပေးလိုပါတယ်။ ဘာ့ကြောင့်လည်းဆိုတော့ essay နဲ့ paragraph ဆက်စပ်နေလို့ပါ။ အောက်ပါ Diagram လေး ကိုကြည့်ပါ။

မိမိရေးထားပြီးသား paragraph လေးတစ်ပုဒ်ကို ဖော်ပြပါ diagram လေးအတိုင်း essay တပုဒ် ဖြစ်လာအောင် expand လုပ်လိုက်ဖို့ တနည်းအားဖြင့် ချဲ့တွင်ရေးသားလိုက်ဖို့ လွယ်ကူပါတယ်။ ဦးစွာ ပထမ Introductory paragraph လေးတွေရေးတတ်လာအောင် လေ့လာကြပါစို့။ essay တစ်ပုဒ်မှာ Introductory paragraph လေးကအထူးကို အရေးကြီးပါတယ်။ essay ရဲ့ အနှစ်သာရဖြစ်တဲ့ thesis statement လေးက Introductory paragraph လေးမှာ ရှိနေတာကိုး။
Thesis statement ကို essay ရဲ့ အသက်သွေးကြောလို့ခေါ်ဆိုနိုင်ပါတယ်။ thesis statement က ကောင်းရင်ကောင်းသလောက် essay လည်းကောင်းမှာပါ။ thesis statement က ညံ့နေချာနေရင်တော့ essay တစ်ပုဒ်လုံးလည်းသွာပြီပေါ့နော်။
ဒီတော့ thesis statement လေးကို ပိုင်ပိုင်နိုင်နို်င် ရေးတတ်လာအောင် နမူနာလေးတွေကြည့်ရအောင်။ child abuse ဆိုတဲ့Topic လေးနဲ့ essay ရေးရမယ် ဆိုပါစို့။ child abuse ဆိုတဲ့ topic လေးနဲ့ paragraph ရေးရမယ်ဆိုရင် ဖော်ပြပါ topic sentence လေးနဲ့စလို့ရပါတယ်။

ဒီ topic sentence လေးကို There are three types of child abuse အဖြစ် ဟောဒီလိုပြောင်းလိုက်လို့ ရပါတယ်။
– Of the three types of child abuse- physical, psychological and sexual abuse – the last is regarded as the most heinous although the first two can be just as traumatic for the abused child.
ဒီ Thesis statement ရဲ့ရှေ့မှာ Introduction လေးထည့်ပေးမှ introductory paragraph လေး ပြည့်စုံသွားမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ introduction လုပ်တဲ့ နည်းမျိုးစုံရှိတဲ့ အနက် Funnel method ကိုဖော်ပြပေးပါ့မယ်။ funnel တနည်းအားဖြင့် ကတော့ပုံပေါ့နော်။ ဒီတော့ ကျယ်ပြန့်တဲ့ အကြောင်းအရာကစပြီး မှ တဖြေးဖြေးနဲ့ ကိုယ်ရေးလိုတဲ့ topic ဆီကို ပို့ပေးတဲ့သဘောပါ။ ဥပမာ-
– Abuse is certainly a harsh word in the English language. Of the many possible forms of abuse, such as abuse of oneself, abuse of one’s spouse among many others, abuse of children inevitably ranks as perhaps the worst simply because children are seen as innocent creatures who need to be protected and loved, not abused. Yet there are people who would do the unthinkable and abuse children.
introduction ကသိပ်ကို အရေးပါတဲ့ အတွက် နမူနာလေးတွေ ထပ်မံဖော်ပြပေးလိုက်ပါတယ်။ topic က dealing with rejection ဆိုပါစို့။ ဒီလို topic မျိုးအတွက် ဖော်ပြပါ topic sentence လေးရေးလို့ရပါတယ်။

ဒီ There are three ways to deal with rejection လေးကို thesis statement ဖြစ်အောင် expand လုပ်လိုက်တဲ့ အခါမှာ အောက်ပါ thesis statement ကိုရရှိပါတယ်။
– There are three ways to deal with rejection-to ignore it, to blame the person or institution that rejected you or to learn from it and of course the last reaction to rejection is clearly the best.
ဒီ Thesis statement ရဲ့ရှေ့မှာ introduction လေးထပ်မံဖြည့်ဆီး ပေးရမှာပါ။ ဒီအခေါက်မှာ funnel method ကိုမသုံးတော့ဘဲ rhetorical question လေးတွေနဲ့ topic ကို introduction လုပ်ပေးကြရအောင်။ ဥပမာ-
– Have you ever been rejected by anyone or any organization in life? How did you deal with rejection? What helped you recover from the rejection? The way you deal with rejection may make you a successful person or an unsuccessful one depending on circumstances surrounding the rejection.
နောက်ဆုံး ဥပမာအနေနဲ့ Overcoming challenges ဆိုတဲ့ခေါင်းစဉ်ကလေးနဲ့ ရေးကြည့်ရအောင်။ ဒီခေါင်းစဉ်အရ အောက်ပါtopic sentence လေး ရေးလို့ ရပါတယ်။
ဒီ We can overcome challenges in life by following the three steps outlined below. လေးကို expend လုပ်လိုက်တဲ့အခါမှာ ဖော်ပြပါ thesis statement ကိုရရှိပါတယ်။
– We can overcome challenges in life by identifying the challenge, recruiting the necessary help to confront it, and finally facing it head-on.
ဒီ Thesis statement ရဲ့ ရှေ့မှာ introduction လေးထည့်ပေးကြတဲ့အခါမှာ funnel တို့ questions တို့ကိုမသုံးဘဲ examplesလေးတွေနဲ့ သုံးကြည့် ရအောင်။
– The first time I encountered a major challenge in life, I simply gave up. I was in high school at the time and I was having a lot of trouble in my calculus class. How would I pass this class which I needed to pass in order to get into a good college? My answer was to give up. I dropped the calculus class and that sealed my fate. ကဲ introduction ရေးတဲ့နည်း သုံးမျိုးသုံးပုံ ဖော်ပြပေးထားပါတယ်။ လူကြိုက်များတဲ့ funnel method ရယ် rhetorical question ရယ်အခု example လေးပါ ဖော်ပြပေးခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ဒီတော့ ကိုယ်တိုင်ကိုယ်ကျ လေ့ကျင့်ပေးဖို့ အချိ်န်ကျရောက်လာပြီလေ။ဖော်ပြပါ ခေါင်းစဉ်လေး ဆယ်ခုကို အရင် ဆုံးtopice sentence လေးတွေရေးကြည့်ကြပါ။ပြီးတော့ ဒီtopice sentence လေးတွေကို thesis statement အဖြစ်ပြောင်းပြီးရေးကြည့်လိုက်ပါ။နောက် ဆုံးအနေနဲ့ ပထမဆုံး ခေါင်းစဉ်လေးကို ရွေးပြီး Dealing with a Difficult Boss ဆိုတဲ့ ခေါင်းစဉ်အတွက် Introduction ကောင်းကောင်းလေး ပါတဲ့ introductory paragraph လေး ရေးကြည့်ကြပါ။ ရေထဲမဆင်းဘဲ ရေကူးတတ်လာမနိုင်ပါ။ ကိုယ်တိုင်ရေးကြည့်မှ စာရေးတတ်မှာပါ။ လေ့ကျင့်ဖို့ ခေါင်း စဉ်လေး ဆယ်ခု ဖော်ပြထားပါတယ်။ ကြိုးစားကြည့်ကြပါဦးခင်ဗျာ။
