This article is the further imagination & explanation.

In fact, it is not right.

( aa )

Syllabus ( သင္ရိုးညႊန္းတမ္း ), teaching techniques, practices & ideologies are different now.

Myanmar Doctors who came & tried for Foreign (Doctor) Exam,

are well prepared for this exam &

generally, they are the bests ( at least top 20% ) of Myanmar Doctors.

Even that, unfortunately, only around 70% can pass the exam.

Other 30% changed their profession (not became foreign recognized doctors).

There are many Myanmar Doctors in Australia, who did not pass the AMC exam.

( bb )

Moreover, I am very regret to inform that,

Foreign Myanmar Doctors know ( but, they will not say it out loud )

Most of the Doctors in Myanmar are not competence enough.

( I mean, up to the level of internationally recognized/accepted )

They met & talked with “their friends”. ( Doctors in Myanmar )

( “their friends” generally refer to FRCP & FRCS,

they don’t want to mention about ordinary doctors, sorry )

After conversation with “their friends”,

It seems, “their friends” are not updated their medical knowledge

after their fellowship ( FRCP & FRCS ).

Everybody agree,

they were clever and competence when they got their FRCP & FRCS

( we have no doubt about that ).

May be, their friends were busy finding money alone &

their times were occupied for this money finding purpose only.

So, they don’t have enough time to update their medical knowledge.

But, in this ever-changing era/world,

Today truth may become tomorrow fault.

So, if you are not refreshing yourself regularly,

Then, you may become incompetent.

In Australia,

Every registered doctors need to replenished/update their medical knowledge,

otherwise, their registration will be cancelled. ( by Law )

( eg, they need to attend conference, refresher courses or attain diploma )

Every years, they need to get at least 15 points from this refresher courses.

If they cannot prove their points, their registration will be cancelled.

( cc )

The worst one is ideology,

In Myanmar,

Our old tradition overly respected to Doctors.

( They were the best intelligent people of Myanmar,

But, it is the past & not now )

Our general populations are poor, unintelligent & unaffordable to dear medical costs.

Then, Doctors think their selves as “ဆရာႀကီး” & “ေက်းဖူးရ်င္”

In developed country,
it is your responsibility

to give good care,

to give full information,
to get the patient’s consent &
make everything in transparency.

( otherwise, you will be punished )
Doctors are not “ဆရာ”
They are barely expert in their field &
give “medical service” & in return take “money”.
Patients are their “customer” &
necessary to give full respect to those patients.

( Don’t forget, “ customer is right & customer is god ” )

ေက်းဇူးတင္ခံထိုက္တယ္ ဆိုတဲ႔ အျမင္ = some form of arrogant

In my opinion,
If you treat the patients with “real good deed”,
you can have not only the money,
but also “Ku tho” & personal satisfaction.
( eg, Teacher profession may have same privilege,
but, unfortunately, Soldiers profession may not have that chance )
You see, what a decent profession,
let say, it is a great privilege to be a Doctor !!!
If I were a doctor,
I will not ask any more like ” ေက်းဇူးတင္ခံထိုက္တယ္ ”
Please be satisfy my fellow doctors.

“Ku tho” & personal satisfaction are more than enough.

Thanks.
