A lesson in love

I love You transitively

but you the object of my love

are loved but passively

Maybe in the simple past

you loved me too

and if (impossible condition ! )

I’d loved you less you’d love me still.

But third conditionals cannot be

I’ve lost yout love and hope to find

the present perfect as they clain or

futures where we’ll love again.
