Burma, died yesterday evening at New York General Hospital from a
ruptured artery in her stomach. She was 49.

News about Singer May Sweet Death was posted on the Irrawaddy News Websites on 11 March and this rumours was spreading around May Sweet’s fans, relatives and family. Later on , May Sweet made explanation on her Facebook and confirmed that she is still alive. May Sweet wrote on her Facebook Fan Page that “both writer of this new article, Violet Cho and the Editor of Irrawaddy News are as stupid and uneducated as one can think off”. Yesterday, May Sweet wrote on her Fan Page again that “Irrawaddy has already lost our reputation as a trustworthy independent media and we’ll let you decide on your own… Quite frankly we don’t trust the source, their news or their technologies since the site is easily hacked… So why waste your time surfing on the website people? It is simply wasting your time”. The Irrawaddy News Group claimed that their websites were hacked and a number of fake articles were posted on homepage. May Sweet also claimed that the editor of Irrawaddy still fail to apologise to her for the fake news about her death posted on their Website.

ခုတလော နာမည်ကြီးတွေ သေဆုံးတယ်လို့ သတင်းတွေ ကြားနေရတယ်။ ကျွန်တော် ကြားဖူးတာတော့ နိုင်ငံခြားက နာမည်ကြီးတွေ သေဆုံးတယ်ဆိုပြီ Facebook လို ဝက်ဆိုက်မျိုးတွေမှာ Phishing လုပ်တတ်ကြပါတယ်။ ဒါပေမယ့် ဒါက မြန်မာမှာ ဖြစ်နေတာ ဆိုတော့ ဒါနဲ့ လည်း မဆိုင်လောက်ပါဘူး။ ဘာတွေများ ဖြစ်နေကြပါလိမ့်။
