 Would you be happier if I + verb (Past Tense)?

ကျွန်တော် အဲဒီလိုလုပ်လိုက်ရင် ခင်ဗျားပိုစိတ်ချမ်းသာမှာလား။

(1)  Would you be happier if I studied the whole night?

ကျွန်တော် တစ်ညလုံး ပေါက် စာကြည့်ရင် ခင်ဗျားပိုစိတ်ချမ်းသာမှာလား။

(2)  Settle the debt of your family.

ခင်ဗျားမိသားစုရဲ ့ အကြွေးကိုဆပ်ပေးတယ်။

Would you be happier if I _________________________________?

(3)  Say, “It’s on me” whenever we eat out.

အပြင်ထွက်စားတိုင်း ကျွန်တော်ပေးမယ် လို့ ပြောတယ်။

(4)  Save up enough money to buy a big house.

အိမ် တစ်လုံးကြီးကြီးဝယ်ဖို့ ပိုက်ဆံစုုတယ်။

(5)  Repair the walls of our house as cost- effectively as possible.

အိမ်နံရံများကို စရိတ်စက သက်သာနိုင် သမျှ သက်သာအောင်ပြင်ဆင်တယ်။

ဒီတစ်ခါ ဥပမာ (၅) ခုပဲ ထည့်ပေးလိုက်ပါတယ်။  ဒီ Pattern ကလေးက If Pattern Type (2)  စိတ်ကူးကြည့်တဲ့ဝါကျဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Clause  နှစ်ခုကို လေ့လာကြည့်ပါ။  If Clause မှာ  Past Tense သုံးထားပြီး ကျန်တဲ့ Clause မှာ  would/could တို့ကို သုံးရပါမယ်။

If I were you, I would stay away from her.  ဒါမျိုးဝါကျပါ။  ငါသာ မင်းနေရာမှာဆိုရင် လို့ စိတ်ကူးကြည့်တဲ့သဘောပေါ့။ ထူးခြားတာကတော့  I  ကို singular အနေနဲ့ was မသုံးဘဲ were လို့ သုံးရပါတယ်။

မန ္တလေးဂေဇက် မိတ်ဆွေများ ပေးကြတဲ့ comments များအတွက် ကျေးဇူးပါနော်။
