Cyclone Nargis survivor reach to receive candy at a buddhist temple turned in to a makeshift shelter in the town of Phyapon Sunday May 11, 2008. As many as 100,000 people are feared dead in Myanmar (formerly Burma) after Cyclone Nargis pummeled the country this week. More than 1 million people are believed to now be homeless. Families have been separated, entire villages remain submerged, and food and clean water are in short supply where available at all. Now sewage and floating bodies threaten to spread disease further.
