ကဲ… ဟိုတယ် အခန်းထဲထိအောင် ချောချောချူချူ ရောက်ခဲ့ပါပြီဗျာ။

အမေရိကကို ကောင်းကောင်းမွန်မွန်ရောက်ကြောင်း ဌာနချုပ်ကို သတင်းပို့ရဦးမယ်။ ကျနော့် ပဲ့ကိုင်ရှင် ရှင်မွေးလွန်းက စိတ်ပူတတ်ပါဘိသနဲ့။

ဖုန်းလှမ်းခေါ်ပြီး အကျိုးအကြောင်းပြောအုံးမှ။

.. နေအုံးဗျ။ အမေရိက to မြန်မာကို ဘယ်လိုဖုန်းခေါ်ရမလဲ မသိဝူး။

ဟိုတယ်ကိုပဲ မေးကြည့်တော့မယ်ဗျာ။

Alex:         I’m sorry, I don’t understand what to do.

ဝမ်းနည်းပါတယ်ဗျာ၊ ဘာလုပ်ရမလဲ နားမလည်လို့ပါ။

Operator:     Just hang up, then dial 011, your country and city codes, and your number.

ဖုန်းခွက်ကို ကိုင်ပြီး၊ ဝ၁၁ ခံပြီး လူကြီးမင်းရဲ့ နိုင်ငံနှင့်မြို့ ကုတ်နံပါတ် ပြီးတော့ ခေါ်ဆိုမယ့် ဖုန်းနံပါတ်ကို နှိပ်ပါရှင်။

ဟလို၊ မစ္စဝီလျံနဲ့ ပြောချင်လို့ပါ။

ဟုတ်ကဲ့၊ ခုပြောတာ ဘယ်သူပါလဲ။

– My name is Tom Hayes.

တွမ်ဟေးရပ်စ်ပါ။

ခဏစောင့်ပါ မစ္စတာဟေးရပ်စ်.

– I’m sorry. She’s out to lunch. Could you call back at one thirty?

ဝမ်းနည်းပါတယ်။ သူ နေ့လည်စာထွက်စားပါတယ်။ တစ်နာရီခွဲမှာ ပြန်ခေါ်လိုက်ပါလားဗျာ။

– I’m afraid that she’s on a meeting.

သူက အစည်းအဝေးလုပ်နေပါတယ်ခင်ဗျာ။

သတင်းစကား ထားခဲ့မလား

ဟလို၊ မစ္စတာခိုင် ရှိပါသလားခင်ဗျာ။

ဘယ်နံပါတ်ကို ခေါ်တာပါလဲ။

ဒါက 678678 ကို ရောက်နေပါတယ်။

ဝမ်းနည်းပါတယ်ဗျာ။ ကျွန်တော် နံပါတ်မှား ခေါ်မိပြီ။

– I tried calling you last night, but I couldn’t get through to you.

ညက ခင်ဗျားဆီ ဖုန်းဆက်ဖို့ ကျွန်တော်ကြိုစားတာ ဆက်လို့မရဘူး။

– I kept getting a busy signal.

ဖုန်းလိုင်းမအားတဲ့ အသံပဲ ကြားနေရတယ်။

–  His line is always busy.

သူ့လိုင်းက အမြဲမအားဘူး။

– Please try to get through to the Sofitel Plaza for me.

Sofitel Plaza  နဲ့ ဖုန်းပြောဖို့ လိုင်းချိတ်ပေးပါခင်ဗျာ။

–          I will see if he’s in the office.

သူ ရုံးထဲမှာ ရှိလားလို့ ကြည့်လိုက်ပါဦးမယ်။
