The Singapore Chinatown mid-autumn festival 2010 is held just outside the Chinatown Mass Rapid Transit station. Streets are festooned with giant lanterns and colourful letterings, and purple, orange and pink lightings provide an autumnal hue to the place at dusk. Multi-coloured and multi-shaped paper lanterns suspended above and neatly arrayed in rows in the columnal arch greet passengers as they step onto the street from the station. Handheld video taken on 23 Sep 2010. Music created using Apple’s ‘Soundtrack’ software.
