IS DONATING TO MONKS FAR NOBLER THAN DONATING TO BUDDHA?
A MONK WAS RAISING HIMSELF UP INDIRECTLY. HE DID THIS BY RAISING OTHER MONKS UP. HE WANTED TO BE EVEN ABOVE BUDDHA IN NOBILITY BY SHEER NUMBER OF MONKS. THAT IS, HE USED THE “QUANTITY” YARDSTICK.
HOWEVER, FOR LAY PEOPLE, HE SAID MILLIONS OF THEM DIDN’T MATTER. THEY WON’T EVER BE NOBLER THAN MONKS. THIS TIME, HE WAS USING THE “QUALITY” YARDSTICK.
CONTRADICTION: HE DIDN’T APPLY THE “QUALITY” YARDSTICK WHEN HE COMPARED MONKS WITH BUDDHA!

The monk in Azusa Temple flyer was saying that donating to monks is NOBLER than donating to Lord Buddha.
You said donating to monks is the SAME as donating to Lord Buddha.
Since you said it’s the SAME, that means you implied “donating to monks” has the SAME nobility as “donating to Lord Buddha.”
NOT MORE!
So, what the monk said was FALSE!
He was saying “Payar hluu de HTET myat eit.” He was claiming “MORE” nobility than Buddha.
