ဇူလိုင်လ ၂၉ ရက်နေ့ နံနက် ၈နာရီ ၅၁မိနစ် စက္ကန့် ၃ဝအချိန်တွင် မန္တလေး မြေငလျင်စခန်းမှ အနောက်မြောက်ဘက် ၁၃၅မိုင်အကွာ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံပြည်တွင်း ဟားခါးမြို့၏ အရှေ့တောင်ဘက် ၁၄မိုင်ခန့်အကွာ၌ အင်အားရစ်ချ်တာစကေး ၅ဒသမ ၈ အဆင့်ရှိ အင်အားအသင့်အတင့်ရှိ မြေငလျင်တစ်ခု လှုပ်ခတ်သွားကြောင်း မိုးလေဝသနှင့် ဇလဗေဒ ညွှန်ကြားမှုဦးစီးဌာနမှ ထုတ်ပြန်ချက်များအရ သိရှိရသည်။
၂၀၁၂ခုနှစ် ဇန်နဝါရီလမှ ဇူလိုင်လကုန်အထိ လှုပ်ခတ်ခဲ့သော ငလျင်များအနက် အင်အားအပြင်းဆုံးဖြစ်ကြောင်းလည်း သိရှိရသည်။
”ဟားခါးမြို့ရဲ့ အရှေ့တောင်ဘက်မှာ အင်အား ၅ ဒသမ ၈ရှိတဲ့ အင်အားအသင့်အတင့်ရှိ ငလျင်တစ်ခု လှုပ်ခတ်သွားတယ်။ ကဘော်ပြတ်ရွေ့မှာ လှုပ်ခတ်သွားတာပါ။ ဒီနှစ်ထဲမှာ လှုပ်ပြီးသွားသမျှတွေထဲမှာတော့ အင်အားအပြင်းဆုံးပါပဲ”ဟုလည်း မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ မြေငလျင်ကော်မတီမှ တာဝန်ရှိသူတစ်ဦးက ပြော ကြားခဲ့သည်။
အလားတူ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ ဘူမိသိပ္ပံအသင်းမှ တာဝန်ရှိသူတစ်ဦးကလည်း ”ဟားခါးဘက်မှာတော့ active ဖြစ်တဲ့ ပြတ်ရွေ့မရှိပါဘူး။ ဒါပေမယ့်တစ်ခုရှိတာက အနောက်ရိုးမဘက်မှာက ငလျင်လှုပ်နိုင်တဲ့ ပြတ်ရွေ့တွေ အများကြီးရှိနေပါတယ်။ ဟားခါးဝန်းကျင်မှာဆိုရင်တော့ မြေအောက်အနက်မှာ လှုပ်တာဖြစ်နိုင်ပါတယ်။ ချင်းတွင်းမြစ်ရိုးတစ်လျောက်နဲ့ မြောက်ဘက်အခြမ်းတွေကလည်း ငလျင်လှုပ်နိုင်တာပါတယ်။ ဟားခါးဝန်းကျင်မှာ active fault မရှိဘူးဆိုပေမယ့် ၅ ဒသမ ၈အဆင့်နဲ့ လှုပ်ခဲ့တာဖြစ်လို့ နောက်တစ်ချက်က မိုးတွင်းဘက်လည်း ဖြစ်နေတော့ မြေပြိုမှုတွေတော့ နောက်ဆက်တွဲအနေ နဲ့ဖြစ်လာနိုင်ပါတယ်။ ဒေသခံတွေ အနေနဲ့ မြေပြိုနိုင်မှုတွေကို အထူး သတိပြုသင့်ပါတယ်”ဟုလည်း ပြော ကြားခဲ့သည်။
