ရွာသားတွေ..အောက်ကပုံပြင်လေးတွေဖတ်ပြီး..ဘယ်လိုအယူအဆတွေကိုယ်စီရကြသလည်း သိချင်မိလို့ပါ..။
အဲဒီပုံပြင်လေးကLoren Eiseley (1907–1977) ရေးထားတာဖြစ်ပြီး.. ကမ္ဘာ့စာတွေထဲ ထူးခြားစွာနဲ့ ရှိနေတာလို့ပြောရမှာပါပဲ..။

The original story

The story describes the narrator walking along the beach early one morning in the pre-dawn twilight, when he sees a man picking up a starfish on the sand and throwing it into the sea. The narrator is observant and subtle, but skeptical. He has the last word, a pessimistic conclusion. Some excerpts:

“     In a pool of sand and silt a starfish had thrust its arms up stiffly and was holding its body away from the stifling mud.

“It’s still alive,” I ventured.

“Yes,” he said, and with a quick yet gentle movement he picked up the star and spun it over my head and far out into the sea. It sunk in a burst of spume, and the waters roared once more.

…”There are not many who come this far,” I said, groping in a sudden embarrassment for words. “Do you collect?”

“Only like this,” he said softly, gesturing amidst the wreckage of the shore. “And only for the living.” He stooped again, oblivious of my curiosity, and skipped another star neatly across the water. “The stars,” he said, “throw well. One can help them.”

…”I do not collect,” I said uncomfortably, the wind beating at my garments. “Neither the living nor the dead. I gave it up a long time ago. Death is the only successful collector.”

The Star Fish Story …’It made a difference for that one’….

Once upon a time, there was a wise man who used to go to the ocean to do his writing. He had a habit of walking on the beach before he began his work.

One day, as he was walking along the shore, he looked down the beach and saw a human figure moving like a dancer. He smiled to himself at the thought of someone who would dance to the day, and so, he walked faster to catch up.

As he got closer, he noticed that the figure was that of a young man, and that what he was doing was not dancing at all. The young man was reaching down to the shore, picking up small objects, and throwing them into the ocean.

He came closer still and called out ‘Good morning! May I ask what it is that you are doing?’

The young man paused, looked up, and replied ‘Throwing starfish into the ocean.’

‘I must ask, then, why are you throwing starfish into the ocean?’ asked the somewhat startled wise man.

To this, the young man replied, ‘The sun is up and the tide is going out. If I don’t throw them in, they’ll die.’

Upon hearing this, the wise man commented, ‘But, young man, do you not realize that there are miles and miles of beach and there are starfish all along every mile? You can’t possibly make a difference!’

At this, the young man bent down, picked up yet another starfish, and threw it into the ocean. As it met the water, he said, ‘It made a difference for that one.’

So, can I encourage you to take the time to do something that will make difference to someone else’s life … and it doesn’t have to be much and they don’t need to know. Just take a moment, do something special … the universe will know and that’s enough.

ကြယ်ငါးတွေကလဲ အများကြီး ၊ အဲတော့ ကြယ်ငါးတိုင်းကိုသာ ကောက်ပြီးပစ်နေရင် လက်အံသေပြီး လက်သာပြုတ်ကျသွားပါမယ် ကြယ်ငါးတွေက မကုန်နိုင်မှာမဟုတ်ပါဘူး။ အဲဒီတော့ ကိုယ်ဘယ်လိုလုပ်မလဲဆိုတာ စဉ်းစားရမယ်မဟုတ်လား။

ကိုယ့်လက်က ဘယ်လောက်ကြီးလဲ ကိုယ်ပစ်နိုင်တာ ဘယ်နှစ်ကောင်လဲ၊ ဘယ်အရွယ်အစားနဲ့ ဘယ်အရောင်ကြယ်ငါးကို ပစ်မလဲစဉ်းစားရပါမယ်။ ကိုယ်လို ကြယ်ငါးကို ပစ်မယ့်သူတွေက ကိုယ်တစ်ယောက်ထဲမဟုတ်ပါဘူး။ အများကြီးပါပဲ။ အဲဒီတော့ ကိုယ်က အပြာရောင်ကြယ်ငါး ကိုယ့်လက်နဲ့လဲနိုင်တဲ့ အရွယ်လောက်ကလေးတွေပဲ ရွေးပြီးကောက်ပစ်မယ်လို့ တွေးလိုက်ပါ။ ပြီးရင် သောင်ပေါ်ကိုဆင်းလိုက်ပေါ့ ။ အပြာရောင်ကြယ်ငါး တွေချည်းရွေးကောက်ပြီးပစ်ပါ ။ အညိုရောင်တွေ့ရင် မပစ်နဲ့ အညိုရောင်ကောက်ပြီးပစ်တဲ့သူကို သတင်းပို့ပေးလိုက်ပါ။ ဟေ့ ဒီမှာ အညိုရောင်ဟေ့ မင်းပစ်တဲ့အကောင်ပေါ့ ။ အခြားအရောင်တွေ ့လဲ သက်ဆိုင်ရာ သူကို သတင်းပို ့လိုက်ပါ။ အဲသလိုလေးသတင်းပေးပြီး ကိုယ်ကေတော့ ပြာရောင်ချည်းကောက်သွားလို်က်ပါ။ ဒါဆို ကိုယ်ကောက်တဲ့ အပြာရောင်တွေဟာ သောင်ပေါ်မှာ ကျဲသွားတဲ့ထိ ထိထိရောက်ရောက်ကောက်နိုင်မယ်။ အဲဒါဆို ရည်ရွယ်ချက်လဲပြည့်မြှောက်ပြီး ကြယ်ငါးလဲရှင်သန်၊ ကိုုယ်လဲရှင်သန်၊ ရေရှည်လဲ တည်မြဲမှာပါ။

One At A Time

A friend of ours was walking down a deserted Mexican beach at sunset. As he walked along, he began to see another man in the distance. As he grew nearer, he noticed that the local native kept leaning down, picking something up and throwing it out into the water. Time and again he kept hurling things out into the ocean.

As our friend approached even closer, he noticed that the man was picking up starfish that had been washed up on the beach and, one at a time, he was throwing them back into the water.

Our friend was puzzled. He approached the man and said, “Good evening, friend. I was wondering what you are doing.”

“I’m throwing these starfish back into the ocean. You see, it’s low tide right now and all of these starfish have been washed up onto the shore. If I don’t throw them back into the sea, they’ll die up here from lack of oxygen.”

“I understand,” my friend replied, “but there must be thousands of starfish on this beach. You can’t possibly get to all of them. There are simply too many. And don’t you realize this is probably happening on hundreds of beaches all up and down this coast. Can’t you see that

you can’t possibly make a difference?”

The local native smiled, bent down and picked up yet another starfish, and as he threw it back into the sea, he replied, “Made a difference to that one!”

တစ်ခါတုန်းက မက္ကဆီကို ကမ်းခြေတစ်ခုမှာ လူတစ်ယောက်သည် ပင်လယ်ရေလှိုင်းနှင့် ပါလာပြီး သောင်ပေါ်တင်ကျန်နေသော ကြယ်ငါးများကို ကောက်ယူကာ ရေထဲသို့ ပစ်ချနေ၏။ သောင်ပေါ်တွင် တင်နေသော ကြယ်ငါးတွေက အများကြီး။ သိန်းနှင့် ချီပြီးတောင် ရှိနိူင်၏။ ပစ်ချနေသောသူက တစ်ယောက်တည်း။ ကြယ်ငါးတွေကိုကောက်ယူပြီး ရေထဲ ပြန်ပစ်နေတာက တစ်ယောက်တည်းမို့ ကြယ်ငါး ဘယ်နှစ်ကောင် အသက်ရှင်လွတ်မြောက်သွားမည်နည်း။

ထိုအချိ်န်တွင် အခြားလူတစ်ယောက် ရောက်လာ၏။ ထိုလူက အတန်ကြာ ရပ်ကြည့်နေပြီးနောက် “ဒီကမ်းခြေမှာ သောင်တင်နေတဲ့ ကြယ်ငါးတွေ ထောင်နဲ့ချိီပြီး ရှိနိူင်တယ်။ အခု ခင်ဗျား လုပ်နေတဲ့ အလုပ်က ဘာထူးမှာလဲ။”ဟု မေးလိုက်၏။

ကြယ်ငါးများကို် ရေထဲသို့ ပစ်ချနေသူက နှစ်နှစ်ခြိုက်ခြိုက်ကြီး ပြုံးလိုက်သည်။ သူက အလျင်စလို ပြန်မပြောသေးဘဲ ကြယ်ငါးတစ်ကောင်ကို သောင်ပြင်ပေါ်မှ ကောက်ယူလိုက်၏။

“ဒီအကောင်အတွက်တော့ ထူးတာ အသေအချာ ပဲဗျာ ”ဟု ပြောဆိုလျက် ကြယ်ငါးကို ရေထဲသို့ ပစ်ချလိုက်လေသည်။

ကြယ်ပုံပြင် ဆိုလို့ သီချင်းခွေ နာမည်လို့ ထင်နေကြဦးမယ်။ အမှန်က ကြယ်ငါးလေးတွေရဲ့ ပုံပြင်လေးပါ။ ကြယ် ငါးလေးတွေမှာ ဘယ်တော့ မှ မရိုးနိုင်တဲ့ပုံပြင်လေးတစ်ပုဒ် ရှိခဲ့ဘူးတယ်တဲ့။ အဲ ပုံပြင်လေးကို ခုပြင်ပြီးဖေါက်သယ်ချမှာပါ။ပုံပြင်ဆိုတော့ ထုံးစံအတိုင်း ပာိုးရှေ့ ရှေ့တုန်းကပေါ့။

ပင်လယ်ကမ်းစပ်မှာ ဒီရေလှိုင်းတွေနဲ့ အတူမျောပါလာပြီး ကမ်းခြေမှာတင်ကျန်နေတတ်တဲ့ ကြယ်ငါးလေး တွေကို အားလုံးပဲ သတိပြုမိကြမှာပါ။ ညပိုင်း ဒီရေတက်ချိန်မှာပါလာကြပြီးမနက်ရေပြန်ကျသွားချိန်မှာတော့ ကမ်းခြေမှာပဲတင်ကျန်နေခဲ့ရှာတယ်။နေ
အတော်မြင့် လာတဲ့အချိန်မှာတော့ သူတို့ ပာာ နွမ်းခြောက်ပြီးသေဆုံးသွားကြရှာတော့တာပေါ့။ဒါကလည်း နေ့စဉ်ရက်ဆက်။ မျိုးပွားနုန်းများပုံရတဲ့ ကြယ်ငါးလေး တွေ ကလည်း တစ်နေ့ တစ်နေ့ နည်းတာမှ မပာုတ်ပဲ။သူတို့ က တစ်ခါတလေတော့ ဒီလို တွေးနေကြရှာ တယ်။ ပင်လယ်သာ ဒီရေ အတက်၊ အကျမရှိဘူးဆိုရင် သူတို့ ဘဝ အသက်ရှင် ရပ်တည်ဖို့ အတွက် လုံခြုံစိတ်ချ မှု
ရနိုင်မယ်ရယ်ပေါ့။ ပင်လယ်ပြင်ကြယ်ကြီးထဲကလောကဓံ အနိမ့် အမြင့် ဒီရေတွေကြောင့် သူတို့ (သူတို့) ဘဝ တွေ ပျောက်ပျောက် သွားနေကြတယ်လေ။
 

တစ်နေ့ ကျတော့ မနက်စောစော အာရုံဆည်းဆာ နဲ့ အတူ လူငယ်လေး တစ်ယောက်က ကမ်းခြေပေါ်မှာ တင် ကျန်နေကြရှာတဲ့ ကြယ်ငါးလေးတွေကို တစ်ကာင်းချင်းစီစိတ်ရှည်လက်ရှည်နဲ့လိုက်ကောက်ပြီး ပင် လယ် ထဲကို ပြန်ချပေးနေတယ်။ ကြယ်ငါး လေး တွေ ကအများကြီးဆိုတော့ သူလုပ်ရပ်လေးက ဆင်ပါးစပ် နှမ်းပက်သလိုမျိုးသိပ်တော့အရာမထင်ရှာဘူးပေါ့။ ဒါပေမယ့်လည်း လူ ငယ် လေး က မနက်တိုင်း မနက်တိုင်းကြယ်ငါးလေးတွေကို သူတတ်နိုင်သလောက် လိုက်ကောက်ပြီး ပင်လယ်ထဲ ပြန်ပြန်ချ ပေး နေတယ်။ ကမ်းပေါ်မှာ ရှင်ကျန်နေတဲ့ ကြယ်ငါးလေးတွေကိုရှာဖွေပြီးတော့ ရေထဲ ပြန်လွှတ်ပေးနေခဲ့တယ်လေ။

တစ်ရက်မှာတော့ လူတစ်ယောက်နဲ့ သူ ဆုံဖြစ်တယ်။ သူ လုပ်ဆောင်နေတာကို ကြည့် ပြီး အဆိုပါပုဂ္ဂိုလ်က မေးပါလေရောလား။ “သူငယ်ရယ် မင်း လုပ်နေတာ ဘာထူးမှာမှာတုန်းပာ” တဲ့ “ဆန် စင်ရာ ကျဉ်ပွေ့ လိုက်နေမယ် ဆိုရင်တော့ သွားပေဦးတော့မိုး မ ဆုံး မြေမဆုံးပဲ ” အကောင်က အများကြီး မင်း ဒီလိုလုပ်လို့ လဲ ဘာမှထူးလာမှာမပာုတ်ဘူး၊ ဒီနေ့ လွတ်သွားရင်လည်း နောက်နေ့ မသေဘူးလို့ ပြောလို့မရဘူးလေကွာ ” ဆိုပြီး လူငယ်လေးကို နားချ တယ် ဆိုပါတော့ ……….
 

ဒီတင်မှာပဲ လူငယ်လေး က အမျိုးအမည် မသိနိုင်တဲ့ အပြုံးလေးနဲ့ လက်ထဲ က ကိုင်ထားတဲ့ ကြယ်ငါး လေး ကို ပြပြီး အခုလို ပြောလိုက်ပါတော့တယ်။“ပာုတ်ပါတယ်ဦးရယ်…ကျွန်တော်လုပ်နေတာ အားလုံးအတွက် မထိရောက်ဘူး၊ ထူးမလာဘူးဆိုပေ မယ် လို့ တော့ ဒီ ကောင်လေးအတွက် တော့ အရမ်းထူးသွား နိုင်တာပေါ့”…ဆိုပြီးလက်ထဲက ကြယ်ငါးလေးကို ရေထဲ ပြန်လွှတ် ပေး လိုက် ပြီး သူ တတ်နိုင်သလောက်ထပ်မံရှာ ဖွေပြီး ကြယ်ငါး ကယ်ဆယ်ရေး ဆက်လုပ်နေပါရော….

ဒါနဲ့ အဆိုပါ ပုဂ္ဂိုလ် လည်း “မင်းတို့ လူငယ်တွေ ခက်ကို ခက်ပါတယ်ကွာ….” ဆိုပြီး ထွက်သွား ပါလေတော့ တယ်………

ပုံပြင်လေးကတော့ ဒါပါပဲခင်ဗျာ…….အနာဂါတ်လူဘောင် အတွက် အုတ်တစ်ချပ် သဲတစ်ပွင့် ပါဝင် ရွက် ဆောင် နေတဲ့ Save The Aged အဖွဲ့သူ အဖွဲ့သားတွေ လက်ထဲမှာလည်းပုံပြင်ထဲကလို ကြယ်ငါးလေးတွေ ရှိနေပါတယ်။လောကဓံ ရဲ့ ရိုက်ခတ်မှုလှိုင်းတွေ ကြောင့် နိမ့်ပါးနေတဲ့ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင် အခြေအနေအတွက် ဆင်ပါးစပ်နှမ်းပက်သလိုအခြေအနေ နဲ့လည်း ဖြစ်ကောင်းဖြစ်နေ နိုင်ပါ တယ်။ ဒါပေမယ့်ပုံပြင်ထဲကလို ရေထဲ ပြန်ရောက်သွားပြီး နေထိုင်စားသောက်မှုတို့ အတွက်လုံခြုံစိတ်ချသွားရရှာတဲ့ ကြယ်ငါးလေး လိုမျိုး ဘဝအခြေအနေတို့ အတွက်တော့အတိုင်းမသိ အကျိုးများသွားပါတယ်။Save The Aged ၏ လုပ်ဆောင်မှုမှန်သမျှတို့ကို လှိုက်လှဲစွာ သာဓုခေါ်ရင်း ဒီပိုစ့် လေးကို Save The Agedအသင်းသူ၊အသင်း သားများ အား လုံး လည်းကောင်း ၊ပြည်တွင်း ပြည်ပ နှင့်အနယ်နယ်အရပ်ရပ်မှ ပါဝင်လှူဒါန်းကုသိုလ်ယူကြသော သူ ငယ်ချင်းများအားလုံးအားလိုက်ကောင်း အလှူခရီးစဉ်တိုင်း
