The Frame: Thais splash into the New Year

I am in Bangkok now and leaving in 2 hours tor Sacramento to get away from this terrible celebration. It’s a nationwide, no holds barred water fight with nowhere to escape. In the US it would be cause for assult and battery charges at best and murder at worst. No one would put up with this kind of behavior—but the Thai people love it. Last year I stayed in my condo for the duration as many foreigners do—-this year I’m making the great escape.

@emailskip … OMG! … cause for assult and battery charges at best and murder at worst … whoa a little over the top arnt you? You live there, yet you critisize their festivities … stay in Sacramento!!!
